Corporate History

Eleven years after it was founded, in 1997 Silicon International, Ltd. merged with PB Technik, AG, a Swiss-based holding company to diversify its product offering by combining wafer making, device making, and surface mount technology into one combined China rep business. In doing so, Silicon International entered a field viewed as a commodity market which was already heavily populated by established competitors.

In December 2003, Pacific Bridge Technologies, Ltd., under the management of Mr. Klaus Feldmeier, acquired Silicon International, Ltd. The focus of the company has returned to its core competency of providing state of the art semiconductor equipment and technology, while continuing to maintain a staff of highly trained professionals.
